Natural dyes, hand-spun wool. Made by Afghan weavers. Kazak rugs are made with natural dyes and hand-spun wool, and feature vibrant colors and bold geometric patterns. Kazak designs and motifs originate from the western area of the Caucasus populated by Amernian and Kurdish tribesmen - not to be confused with the state of Kazakhstan. They are available in a variety of patterns, from all-over designs to medallion-based designs. Extremely strong and durable rugs, easy to maintain, they are well suited in high traffic areas and under heavy furniture.
